Whats the difference between the online convience charge and the instore charge.?

Can anyone help me out?

B/c I just wanted to purchuse to $34.50 tickets, and the total was $93.75. Which is an extra $11 per ticket. I just thought this was ridiculous, and wanted to see if anyone knew how much extra they charge at the retail locations?

Please && thanks ;-)

Taken from Ticketmaster's FAQ section:

"Is the convenience charge always the same no matter where I buy my tickets?

No, the convenience charge will vary depending upon where you purchase the tickets. There is typically no convenience charge when you drive to a box office to purchase tickets. A convenience charge is applied when you purchase from the Internet, phone or ticket outlet (e.g., at your local department store), and this charge may vary depending upon Ticketmaster's local agreements with its venue, promoter and outlet partners."

Box Offices: FREE (Drive to them, it's worth it)

Ticketmaster locations and website (commonly in stores): include "convenience charge" of up to (and exceeding) 50%.
