you can go to an outlet like FYE, or call their 800 #, or log onto ticketmaster.com to purchase online. Service fees aren't usually too bad for the convenience of not having to go to the venue itself.

How do you know if tickets have sold out on ticket master?

how do you know if tickets have sold out for an event on ticket master? When i try to purchase a ticket for a specific concert it says that they currently have no tickets on sale for the event, and over the phone it says something about ticket sales being exhausted. However, people over message boards are saying that it works on their computers and they can successfully buy tickets.

Ticketmaster are in the business of selling tickets - if they have some for available for sale they will want to sell them to you.

Maybe they have you marked as a major ticket scalper? - try from a different computer - if its still the same then the event is sold out.

Maybe the people on the message boards are in a different country or state?

If you want to go you will need to purchase tickets in the secondary market - have a look at tickex.com for that.

you'll be fine, don't worry about it! other services like fandango, usps, and ups also allow you to print out labels/tickets with barcodes on them.

I am planning on buying seats tomorrow for the jackson griffin fight in vegas on July 5th. I was wondering what seats people who have previously went to events would reccomend purchasing. Is it worth it to buy the floor seats for $650 or would you say the less expensives seats ($450) would be better since you are elevated. I have a feeling the $650 seats might be lousy since you are way back on the floor? Since there is a rush on ticketmaster the second the seats go on sale, which dollar amont would u reccomend I go for? (e.g. 650, 450 ,350 etc) Do they autimatically give the best seats for the different price range to the earliest people buying the tickes online?

Yep. Try buying them directly from the venue.

If you go to a retail Ticketmaster location you will still pay a fee, but its usually less than what you would pay if you bought them online. If you go directly to the box office you can usually avoid the fee, although sometimes the box office charges a fee as well, but almost always much less than what you would pay going through Ticketmaster.

Where can I find free stuff?

Making the Band 4 tour tickets...?

Diddy announced that the tickets would be on sale by 3/28. I went to ticketmaster and it said that the groups were only in a couple of cities... not including mine. Literally it was only about 4 cities. I typed in Danity Kane tour, Day 26, Donnie Klang, Making the Band, Making the Band 4. The first 3 all had the same location. WHATS HAPPENING????

I need help with my invitations!?

My fiance and I are getting married at centre ice on an arena's ice pad. Other than the location, it is still a pretty traditional wedding. Traditional ceremony, attire, reception, etc. My invitations though I decided to do something a little more fun. I had ticketmaster make up "hockey tickets" with all the information (names, date, time, location, etc.) and they are really cool. But in the invitation I want to add a seperate piece of paper to tell people to bring their skates for skating, what we are serving for dinner, etc. I am just not sure how to word it. Any ideas?

The separate card is called an enclosure card and can have a bit more of an informal wording. Most say "Reception immediately following", but you can also add beneath that "Dinner and Skating to follow. Bring Ice Skates". Or it might be costly, but if you are more for a formal type wedding and your budget will allow, I would speak with the ice rink for a deal on rentals. Not many people want to lug ice skates to a wedding, especially if they have children. If the rink will give you a deal (and if it is possible) it would be better to rent them for your guests and it will make for a neat surprise/favor.

I have been to many Warped Tours in my day and they always seem to have tickets at the gate so I don't have to buy it on Ticketmaster. However, I have never been to Warped Tour at Nassau on Long Island. Is the same true for this location (being that it's probably one of the shows with higher attendance)? I want to make sure I can arrive (maybe even a couple hours after the gate opens) and still get a ticket there. Thanks!

You can providing it's not sold out. I would play it safe and get them in advance for that date though. I bought a total of 8 tickets for the Warped in Phoenix, and between Ebay and Craigslist I got them all cheaper than ticketmaster.

I had a great time this year. Got to see about seven full sets, plus a few songs here and there from others. Got to meet people from 3 different bands, and got some merch signed. It was definitely worth the price of admission.

Jonas brothers tickets?

I went on to ticketmaster to see if the jonas brothers summer burning up tour was listed yet since it's on their myspace, and i've noticed that ticketmaster didn't list all the dates that their myspace did - they forgot many locations, including the one i was looking to go to - (madison square garden) and they also forgot boston MA, atlanta GA, cleveland OH and some others. why wouldn't they be listed on ticketmaster but they are listed on myspace??

Its actually better to go to the venue or to one of the F.Y.E stores or one of those that sells tickets because the first 20 rows are only available at the stores. That's what I did for the WYLMITE tour. Ticketmaster doesn't have all the dates, however check livenation.com or their myspace for the link as soon as they go on pre-sale this Tuesday or on Sale the 29.

What does everyone think of next monday's big night?

WWE's return to Madison Square Garden will not only feature a live RAW but also the taping for Saturday Night's Main Event, which will be broadcast on NBC on Saturday August 18th. Tapings for SNME will kick off the live activities followed by a live RAW. Superstars from Smackdown! and ECW will also be present for the SNME tapings. The show kicks off at 6:45PM. It is believed that Triple H will be appearing that night as well most likely during RAW, the same location that he made his return in January of 2002 after spending the major part of 2001 injured with the same type of injury on his other leg. That night, a bulkier Triple H got a monster pop that rocked the roof of Madison Square Garden. Tickets are still available for the show and you can get them through Ticketmaster. com.

It is believed that Triple H will make an early return with a surprise attack on Booker T next week on Raw. This would probably be during the crowning of jerry Lawler. Dave Meltzer is reporting that this would then lead to Booker T vs Triple H at Summerslam.

I'm going to RAW this monday,and all I can say is that I'm excited.

Hmmm, hopefully they will throw everything into RAW, including the kitchen sink. Their ratings improved last week but I don't think the show stuck out all that much with the exception of a few segments.

I think the success in entertainment value in RAW might either make SNME a success or a failure.

It is always a matter of getting the best seats available at the time of sale so knowing the lay-out only helps a bit. I prefer 5 rows back from the stage and center.

If your mom is there early you will most likely get floor seats, if that's what you want (I don't know if your mom would enjoy being squished in somewhat of a mosh pit). If she's aiming for one of the levels, then you'll probably end up in the 100's.

Advice on Pre-Sale Concert Tickets?

I am a member of the Jonas Brothers Fan Club. I've read a lot about the pre-sale ticket process on the website, but it's really confusing. It says that the vendors have picked quality seats out for the members, but there is no guarantee that you will get good seats. Also, it says that in some cases, you will not know your exact seating locations until the tickets are mailed to you. Otherwise if you buy them through TicketMaster, you will automatically know upon purchasing. Here are my questions:

1) For the pre-sale tickets, do you buy them through TicketMaster as well?

2) Furthermore, will I know my exact seating location upon purchasing the tickets for the pre-sale?

I don't want to buy tickets through the club without knowing for sure about my location. If I won't know, I'll just buy them on March 29 when they go on sale to the public, but:

Will I be better off going to the box office or online?

1. Well on ticketmaster you can either put in the presale code or buy another Team Jonas membership. But since the website was being slow and people couldn't get codes some people did the second option.

2. I believe you should know the area where your going to seat but just beware they aren't the best seats.

3. If I was you I would go to the box office. My mom has been to alot of concerts and recommends you got to the box office (IDK why though). Also with websites they can crash easily with all the people on it. Just like what happened on the Team Jonas website.

Where can I find information for upcoming concert tour dates in Singapore. Obviously, if there is a particular artist you have in mind, their official website would list the information. Jonas Brothers vip tickets?

Okay so i bought the jonas brothers vip tickets yesterday for the 3/22 show. I am a little confused. It says that it includes tickets to the concert, but ppl are telling me otherwise. But why would they sell them for $145 if they are just for the soundcheck? If the most exspensive tickets were like $47. Also my mom called up ticketmaster and they said it included tickets to not only the soundcheck but the concert 2. And when i bought my tickets off ticketmaster it told me the location of my tickets. they said they are in section 8 row b, which is 2nd row. So before i get REALLY excited i want to know for sure that it includes concert tickets too. does anyone know FOR SURE?

IT INCLUDES:

4. It was $145 because of the private soundcheck entrance, the whole "its vip" thing [flaunting mostly], plus the ticket price, and it was a little bit more because MOST of the money is going towards a childrens fund [i think nick started it].

I heard on the radio this morning (99.9 Gator Country in Jax, Fl) that his tickets go on sale this saturday at 10am, but I'm seeing some already on the web for sale. But I go to ticketmaster and there's no tickets for sale in Jax yet. What does that mean? Are some tickets available first and some come out later for other locations? or what? I'm confused.

I've never been to Philips Arena before and the seating chart is sort of confusing to me as to what location yet side the camera's are located on, does anyone have an idea?? Are the camera's on the side of the Suite Section or the opposite side where there are the Lower, Upper, and Upper 400's section?

Today 7/31 @ 4pm tickets for Wicked Los Angeles @ the pantages went on sale for the month of October but everytime i do my search i press 2 seats & $35 seats but when i finally get to the page where it has the tickets & seating chart it only has the price but no seats, rows, or location of seats.. any help?

okay, i bought two tickets to old crow medicine show, february 6th 2009 (this friday), and my dad bought them for me.

here's the problem, i live in ohio, the concert is in north carolina, and my dad flies back and fourth from delaware state for his job.

when i bought the tickets there was no TICKET FAST PRINT thing (which would allow me to print my tickets at home) but for some reason that wasn't an option

so i did the retail pickup/will-call thing.

PROBLEM:

my dad used his credit card to buy the tickets

the retail/will call thing REQUIRES that you have a photo i.d of the person who bought the tickets (my dad) and the credit card used (my dads)

see, i would just take his i.d and credit card to pick them up, but he needs them check into his hotel and to get on the plane

and none of the retail locations in ohio allow me to pick up tickets for north carolina, it has to be a surrounding state

WHAT IN THE WORLD DO I DO?!

would they allow me to bring in a scan of the credit card and his drivers license?

i would call the box office but i CAN'T find the number (no official website for the venue, the millenium center, winston-salem, north carolina)

i would buy tickets ahead of time (if you buy it via ticketmaster, you'll have to pay extra so i suggest buying it at a lotto station if they sell tickets??). esp if its floor, then you would wanna have your tickets and be lining up REALLY early. my friends usually line up an hour earlier (even if its freezing cold).

WEar comfy but nice looking clothes. No Vans cuz they fall off easily (especially if you decide to mosh/crowd-surf) . Wear converse maybe..

If you bring a bag i suggest you bring one that will stay on and you can probably stuff your sweater/jacket but is not so big that it'll annoy fellow audience people. If theres a coat check, USE IT. *but if you're getting a ride home i suggest you tell the driver you'll be late*

If you're in seats... then w/e.. you can probably bring a huge bag and put it on the ground,, and you probs don't have to arrive super early either.

HELP: Ticketmaster Refunds??

I was wondering, if I bought tickets from ticketmaster, not through online but rather from one of their retail locations (like CD stores, Sunrise Records, GMC music, etc) and say the show was cancelled/rescheduled. Will there always be a refund if you go back to the original location?

Will there ever be a chance that the tickets go to waste and you just dont get your money back?

if the performance is cancelled...yes, there will always be a full refund at you have to get from the place of purchase...

if a performance is rescheduled...the poliocy is usually to honor all tickets purchased earlier...

the only way you wouldn't get a refund is if you didn't follow instructions followin' the cancellation/reschedlin' of a performance...

I think there is always that possibility with Ticketmaster because they want to suck the very life out of you. You should always check at the time of purchase, in the event the show is cancelled/re-scheduled are the tickets refundable? Most times if the show is re-scheduled, the original tickets will be honored. But that may be more a house policy than ticketmaster policy. Be safe and always double check.

Sometimes people sell at face value because their plans have changed, and you can get tickets that way.

If you don't already have an ebay account, you might want to seriously consider getting an account. You can get almost anything you can want on ebay and usually at better than retail prices! Just make sure you buy from a seller with a 99% or better rating and over 100 sales. I have never had any problem as long as I have followed those guidelines.

If a show at Ticketmaster is sold out, would a retail location still have some tickets? My school has a ticketing office and they're also a Ticketmaster outlet; the way they run ticketing is they have an X amount of passes to sell (like for theme parks, theater shows, etc). Do you think their Ticketmaster option is the same way?

And does Ticketmaster release more tickets as the date to a show gets closer?

Usually Ticketmaster hosts all events and their tickets. Majority of the tickets are sold through them, and usually when they say that they are sold out, they usually are. Sometimes events often keep some tickets a side, but they are generally usually the "nose bleed seats". The good seats are always to the highest bidder and sold through ticketmaster. So yes. 98% of the time if its says sold out it usually is...

I work at a movie theater, and at least for us, if it says sold out, it's sold out, and there's a slim chance that you'll find a seat even if you have a ticket.

I had to work today and couldnt make it to a ticketmaster location and tried to get tickets for the Penguins first two playoff home games online, and have tried any available seats since 10am when they went for sale and have had no luck. Did anyone else get lucky enough to get tickets?

I was literally hitting the refresh button on my computer at the ticketmaster website at 9:59, and when 10 o'clock struck, the page loaded up saying that no tickets were available for the criteria entered. All pairs were sold out for the first two home games almost instantly. My only luck was getting a single ticket for each game. Then, singles were sold out within 15 minutes. Also, there was no chance getting through on the phones.

I heard there were only 2000 tickets available to each game since most are given to season ticket holders. Apparently everyone had the same strategy as me.

For years I've been getting them from ticketmaster.com. I always get the e-mails about the pre-sales and just do that. I'm pretty sure I started getting the pre-sale deals after the first time I used ticketmaster.com. I've always gotten really good seats this way. They come in a play white envelope that might be something you overlook and throw away. I did not have to sign for them.

Usually within a few days.you also my have to sign for them now. It's something new they started.

It took about eight days. I didn't have to sign for mine. My purchase was in mid October.

It is almost always cheaper to go to the actual venue to pick up your tickets. Ticketmaster works as the middle man between the ticket buyer and the venue or promoter who is selling the event. The face value of the ticket goes straight back to the promoter or venue. Ticketmaster makes their money buy collecting a service charge when you place and order. So if you cut straight to the source you avoid higher convenience fees.

That doesn't mean the box office or venue doesn't charge some a convenience and or facility fee. Many times the facility fee (which is different than a service or convenience charge) is charged both at the venue and to people who are using Ticketmaster. The facility fee is set by the venue and is hypothetically for the venue to upkeep the building, maintenance, etc.

You could always call the box office and inquire as to their service charge and facility fee for the event you are interested if you want to know for sure.

I've never done the local pickup before, but I bought my tickets from a ticket master location in Madison, Wisconsin at The Boston Store. So if you are looking into doing a local pickup, i would suggest just buying the ticket from a local ticketmaster dealer.

Ticketmaster give you a refrence number in the following format 1-23456 or 12-34567 which you can use along with the credit card you payed with to redeem the tickets before the performance day. If you were able to buy it then it's not sold out, your cousin was probably just looking on bad ticket sites, which there are a lot of. Trust me, I tried to buy tickets to a sold out concert on ticketmaster an it wouldn't let me, so if it let you buy them you should be good! :)

Some Macy's stores are retail pickups. You can do a search on their website for retail places in your area. But it should have given you the exact location on the confirmation page.

They should have a telephone number on their site - Call them asap to see where the tickets are.

if you go to a ticketmaster vendor like kroger for example they charge the same "convience fees"...the venue it's being held at will only charge a couple of dollars for a ticket.

this can be iffy due to their hours and the number of tickets they have.

Buying at the venue will usually be cheaper - you will not pay most of the ticketmaster fees, but will pay lesser ticket handling fees or similar from the venue.

It really depends upon what you want, if you don't care about where you sit then try the venue - but if its a really popular concert & you want good seats, then you will have make sure your nearly first in line when the tickets go on sale or just try your luck online. If you miss out there you will have to onto the secondary market like tickex, stubhub, & the like.

The fastest way is to do it online. Just because you are at a ticketmaster location doesnt mean you will get good seats. Whether you go online, to a outlet or call in it's all the same seats and it all takes from the same pool of tickets. If there is more then 1 person at a outlet they will make you draw random numbers, so just because you were there first, it doesn't mean you will get tickets first.

You can get tickets to any Ticketmaster event at any Ticketmaster location in Canada. Or you can buy online. Or you can also call any Ticketmaster in Canada to buy tickets.

Someone else mentioned this already, but just make sure you know exactly what you are looking for if you buy from another city because they may not know much about the event and/or venue you are needing tickets for.

Yes, not a problem. Do either (Calgary outlet or Internet.) Or even call Vancouver Ticketmaster -604-280-4444 (They list 1-800-663-9311 for Canuck events, but I think I have used that before for other stuff.)

The only caution is you might want to at least research it on the Ticketmaster website as a Calgary sales agent is not likely able to help you with many questions.

At ticketmaster locations, do you still have to pay the $8 convienence charge plus processing charges?

it says there are 3 charges- one for processing, one convienence charge and taxes. when you actually buy them on location at a ticketmaster location, do you still have to pay those charges or only taxes or what?
